A message from the sellers and original owners, "What we love about our house…"

We are at the back of the neighborhood on a level cul-de-sac where our kids could ride their bikes without the worry of traffic.  We love that there is a horse pasture in the back yard and there will never be anyone that lives behind us.  We spent many nights on both the back and front porch enjoying the sounds of the frogs and crickets while the fire flies sparkled.

We love the family room with the 3 palladium windows looking over the back yard.  Movie night was always fun in the basement theater room (all wiring is in and back speakers are still there).  When we had bad weather or tornado warnings, we would go to the room in the basement on the right. That "safe room" is all sides concrete, has it's own water supply, and has an emergency light that comes on if the power goes out.

We also love all of the storage places in the house.  There is room for everything without even using the attic..  When we built the home, we deliberately put the master upstairs so that we could be where our children were.  As the kids were young when the home was built, this was a big help to us and them.

The garage tool closet… The upper part was intended to be a full bath on the main floor.  Since we didn't need another full bathroom, it functioned much better for us as a tool room and he was able to hang most of his frequently used items on the wall.

Something small, but a time savings, our contractor had us put in a manual sprinkler system controller rather than an electric one.  This means that we don't have to reprogram it if there is a power outage.

The HOA fees also pay for garbage collection which did two things, 1) reduced the cost, and 2) it means that garbage trucks are only in the neighborhood 1 day per week. We also have gigabit internet service that is  extremely fast and covers the entire home.

Finally, we love the Richmond Glen neighbors and the activities put on by the HOA.  There is always a Halloween party, schools out party, opening of swimming pool party, etc.  It is an active neighborhood with just the right amount of homes to feel close to most people.
